This place used to be pretty on point, but within the last six months or so, it's become a chore to go here. I've been going here off and on for the last 5 years, alternating full manicures with polish changes.
I will absolutely not be back.
For a while I would make appointments (for any nail tech), but they never seemed to expedite the process or get me in sooner, so I went back to being a walk-in. Which would be fine at any other nail salon, but how they prioritize their customers is anyone's guess.
On a previous visit, the manager/attendant called my name and approached a young girl who said, "yep that's me!" She took my spot in the queue, even though she came in after me and didn't have an appointment. He even acknowledged our names weren't even similar, but didn't ask her to wait her turn.
Today, I waited over 40 minutes for a polish change. He skipped over me for customers who came in after me (again, no appointments). But a polish change is lower priority than someone getting a full set or mani/pedi.
Finally a nail tech seated me. Ok, cool! Except she literally walked away and grabbed a pedicure caddy. Manager guy came over and asked if I wouldn't mind waiting (this is rich!) for someone who had an appointment. I said I WOULD mind and it'd be a shame to lose a customer over their poor customer service and line management.
When he said I'd have to wait and bit longer, I happily got up and took my business up the road to Soho where they have a better color selection, anyhow.
Long story short: their nail techs are decent (not great, but good), but their service is awful. Save yourself the headache and go to a smaller shop like Soho or Princess.
