Nicholas is the best guy for your blowouts! He was so nice and assured me he knew what he was doing. He took the extras time to make my hair (which is particularly thick and hard to manage) look great! It's been so difficult for me to find a hairdresser up here in Ithaca who knows how to give me a proper blowdry. Prices are higher than other salons for longer hair but I don't mind paying a little more to get decent results. The only reason I'm giving the salon in general 4 stars and not 5 is because I felt the lady at the front was a little rude to me because I'm a younger customer. She seemed kind of off to me but the rest of staff was great.

You will leave Julie Stone's Salon completely satisfied. Julie is a wonderful stylist. She was kind, thorough, and communicated with me at every step of the process to make sure I was thrilled with the haircut. She's so passionate and truly cares about her craft, business and customers.

Excellent! They listen carefully and follow instructions. We all know the other side of that coin too well, don't we? No more days of walking out and counting the time until the damage grows out. Each stylist can perform every service with competency and creativity... nothing "cookie cutter" here. The comraderie is fabulous and there is a happy amount of confering in best choices throughout involving much of the staff including the client's voice at every step. Best of all, the final result is affirming. I feel great when I leave as well as enjoying my color and cut for weeks and months as one should. My hair is easy to work with and the compliments are satisfying to hear. The description they used: Small town salon with big city results is perfect. Even though I'm now living in stylish Vero Beach I wait for trips "home" to get the warm feeling and great individual care with Julie and her lovable crew. You can't do better anywhere.
