I had some good experiences with Ace/Henry. I had a job interview so it happened that i had to do my hair suddenly with a very short notice. Still he was very nice and he knows the Korean hairstyle very well and recommended volume magic. He was also honest saying dying my hair is not always healthy so i don't have to do it. I did magic first and received lots of compliments. I also was preparing my wedding and he was very understanding with my schedule and advised me a good timeline for my hair. Lastly, my parents came from South Korea and they wanted a hair cut and Henry was very generous making time prior to his vacation. Henry is a very reliable person and knows what he is doing, familiar with Asian hairs and I always got a lots of compliments from people. I am happy I found this salon and will keep recommending to people.

We were initially unsure about Ace Salon, as we’d often passed by its unassuming facade on our way to work. Recommended by my husband’s colleagues, we decided to give it a try for his much-needed haircut. Although we walked in without an appointment, they kindly accommodated us with a 30-minute wait, which was more than reasonable. My husband, who’s struggled to find a salon that truly understands his hair in Ithaca, finally found his perfect match in Jason at Ace Salon. As for me- I was initially hesitant about going super short, but after a quick consult with Henry- he tailored the cut to my face shape and personal preferences, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I even returned for a full color treatment and am thrilled with the outcome. Henry and Jason are incredibly passionate, meticulous, and talented at what they do. Ace Salon is no-frills, and truly exceptional. My husband and I will certainly be back!

I’ve been a regular customer at this salon for over 2 years, and I’ve always had a positive experience. The owner is a skilled and experienced stylist who really knows how to work with different hair types. Whether it’s a cut, color, or treatment, I’ve always been happy with the results. I’d definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking for a professional and knowledgeable stylist.

Just dont go. Drive for 15 minutes just to try this while I can just get a pretty decent haircut in collegetown. Turned out I got nothing like the picture I showed. I showed the same picture to barbers all the time and this is the worst one I got from that. They even soaked my tshirt during washing. And the fake politeness will make you really uncomfortable. But still ask for a 15% gratuity as if for granted. IDK really what should I be grateful of.
