I use to travel to Brooklyn to get my hair done, until I got the referral to SHADES. Best referral ever. The atmosphere is peaceful, and professional. Your appointment time is honored, which is a major plus, because anyone who gets their hair done knows,Waiting for hours to get your hair done is the worse. All the staff is pleasant, the products used are top of the line, and your hair feels healthy when she's done. Highly Recommend. ❤

Always passed by, never went inside. Decided to get a wash and cut and twist on my natural 4c hair. Left with twists in and took out myself by choice. They looked awesome. I’ve never had anyone else do my hair since going natural but they really made me happy. Very satisfied with the service, clean environment, and I’ll be going back.

It was a wonderful experience! The setup is warm and welcoming even with safety procedures in place. My stylist Ceara was receptive handled my hair quite well. Engaging conversations, nice music. I think I just found my new salon!

Great place, wonderful environment, friendly knowledgable staff for the most part. Prices fluctuated too much too often. What would be $50 one time all of a sudden was $125 the next. Ridiculous.
