My stylist did an amazing job on my hair, that is not the issue. I went in by appointment for a root touch up… NOW, I showed up for my appointment, 10 minutes late, which I was told it would be fine if I were a little late or early… I sat and waited for almost an hour for her to start on me because she had previously started a perm on someone else. Maybe I’m uneducated, but I would think it’s unprofessional to do two big jobs that require chemicals at once… it felt unsafe. Also, I had a very light tint in my hair from some temporary color I used that had pretty much washed out and it took no extra effort to tone it out after my roots were finished. I don’t know it this is standard or add on jobs, but she trimmed a bit off after my touch up and did conditioning, but I feel like that should be included? I’ve had a full head dye job done from very dark hair in the past and it didn’t cost nearly as much as what I was charged… I walked out putting down almost $300 after I tipped my stylist… am I crazy? Because after asking other stylists, so me that I know personally agreed that I was overcharged. My ONLY issue is the pricing. I sat there for 3.5 hours because she was multitasking, not because it took my job that long. I just feel it was unfair.
