I had salon commitment issues, and had not done anything beyond a quick trim with my hair in over 5 years. That changed though, as I booked an appointment with Jasmine — thanks to recommendations from friends that have the best hair color/styles (and ironically go to Jasmine too). Jasmine did a stellar job not only cutting my hair, but also coloring (balayage). She was friendly, polite, and was happy to answer my many questions about the process and what she was doing. I'm happy to say I've been consistent with my hair appointments now, since I've FINALLY have a true professional and trustworthy hair stylist. Thank you, Jasmine!

I have been choosing Spitale for almost two years now - everyone is so friendly from the moment you walk in to the time you leave! The salon is very clean with a chic atmosphere. Jasmine always leaves my hair looking AMAZING and Brittany makes my skin so soft and lashes on point!!! Jasmine also microbladed my eye brows and I was so nervous about how it would feel/look but she made the entire situation relaxing and comfortable for me on top of them looking fantastic!! I get so many compliments from my patients and coworkers about my hair, brows and lashes — Spitale is the place to be!

I consultation from Spitale Spa for laser hair removal on my face and back. I was very concerned about the possibility of hyperpigmentation as a result of the laser procedure given my skin tone. I completed the consent form and again stressed my concerns . Diane Spitale reassured me multiple times that hyperpigmentation was highly unlikely as the procedure could be done with lasers suited for my skin tone . I repeatedly made her aware of my concerns and was repeatedly reassured. During the treatment course there was a change made in the laser strength(increased) by the spa technician-in conflict with the laser strength determined to be safe by Diane Spitale. I began to notice pigment changes in the skin of my face after this change in laser strength. I asked to speak to the technician who made the change and I was informed she no longer worked there. I complained to Diane Spitale and was advised that I would not receive a discount or any refund. I was sent a letter from her husband which said I would not be getting a refund as per their policy. The hyperpigmentation changes have worsened and I am concerned that the changes will not improve. I am now very self conscious and insecure about my skin. My skin will be never same . I still have treatment but I will go there or recommend any one go there. I am extremely unhappy with their service. I am not the one who has experience this I have read three other reviews that they want through the same experience. They are totally scams I don't recommended any one to get laser treatment from them .

I came to this salon to blow dry and style my hair for a Ball in late May. I am not from NY so I was relying very heavily on the salons reviews. I have very long, thick, curly hair and the stylist (whom I believe was the owner) did not do a good job blow drying my hair. I believe that he was not only rushing but was also overwhelmed by how much hair I have. He did not give me enough time to look at my hair or see how I liked it, I was quickly moved to the cashier. 5 minutes after leaving the salon and really looking at my hair - my roots were still wavy/curly and I could see full on curls still intact. When I went back to show them/ tell them it needed to be done again the stylist told me that my hair could not be properly blow dried because it is too "coarse". If he thought that he could not style my hair because he is not experienced in dealing with thick or curly hair he should have told me before he started or before i paid because I've paid less money at other salons that did way better jobs and did not insult or make my hair the problem. When I made this appointment i seriously considered asking what demographics they tend to serve and I definitely regretted not asking, especially after that experience. I believe that this salon is only equipped to handle the average Caucasian women's hair, so the further your hair diverts from that - I would not recommend this salon.
