Wonderful people and a great experience. I was left scratching my head though after the $98.00 charge for a 30 min short cut…..I am the only person I k ow who’s paid a c-note for a haircut. Again, professional and polite, but Check pricing before hand…..

I have been going to To the Woods in Chapel Hill for hair styling and haircuts for the past year. I wish I could have started going there years ago, but I lived in another state. Jaime really hit a chord for me, creating an attractive look requiring little work on my part. I had no idea my hair could look so good everyday with so little work! I feel very fortunate to have found To the Woods and the friendly, professional people there.

Leah did an A-MAZING job on my curly hair today. I have never gotten a curly cut before and she made my curls come to LIFE again. She walked me through everything she was doing to my hair in the process and gave me pointers of what to do at home. She recommended some hair gel and clarifying shampoo to me that I am going to get ASAP. She also made small talk w/ me and it turns out we are soon to be neighbors! I am so psyched to have such a pleasant spirit in my neighborhood and as my go to stylist from now on. I did not catch the name of the woman up front checking me in and out - but she was so nice too! She hyped my haircut up and made small talk w/ me. I loved the aesthetic and vibes of this place - it is so pretty! Overall - it was an amazing experience. I will be back for my seasonal cut - and any other hair needs!

Went to To the Woods for the first time yesterday, and picked the first available stylist for my booking. I was greeted very warmly by the lovely lady running reception, and my stylist Marcella came to get me right on time. I honestly had the best time! Marcella got my hair perfect, just a trim with some layering, thinning, and framing. but what made the visit was Marcella’s warm hospitality. We chatted about anything and everything, and that’s not easy for me usually. The price points are a bit higher than other local salons but it is very much worth it for the expertise and hospitality given by the staff. 🤩🤩

I had hair color and cut done by Marcella. Amazing experience, I cannot recommend her enough. Such an amazing cut, very professional, kind, attentive.
