I was refused a bang trim. Just walked in to see if they could do it and before I could say anything besides hi, I was sent next door because they thought I was in the wrong place. When I asked for a bang trim, they said they were cleaning and closing up. That surprised me since I googled their hours before heading over that way, and it said they close at 8. It was about 6:10 when I got there. I was disappointed.

Updated review. After I got home from my hair appointment and was about to get in the shower (I pulled my hair back so as not to wash out my hair color (the service provided that I am happy with). My boyfriend noticed a shaved bald patch on the side of my head, about the size of a dime, towards the back. I contacted my former stylist in Wilmington, NC to ask how to approach the situation ( I waited a few days, not only to calm down, but because I wanted to make sure to address this in a civil matter.). While I have nothing against Lisa Parrish on a personal basis, in my opinion this matter could've been handled more professionally. I simply asked for a refund, yes it was 6 days after the hair services were performed.. But not only am I having to wear my hair to cover the bald patch shaved in my head (which is pretty embarrassing), I gave myself time to calm down before I even called the salon. I was told I would be contacted by the owner, instead, Lisa called me herself, I've just now been informed, by Lisa, that I will not receive a refund and I will most definitely be seeking future haircuts/ color services elsewhere. I understand now that maybe waiting to contact the salon was not the best move, so I suppose walking in absolutely livid and embarrassed to complain would've been a better approach to this. Not impressed with how this was handled, whatsoever.

Cathy is my hero! I brought my 16 yr. old granddaughter in with damaged PINK hair! Cathy was calm & confident. By the time we left, my granddaughter had healthy looking, shiny smooth black hair and a beautiful cut. Thank you, Cathy!
