Communication - poor. I made a request on how I wanted the edges of my box braids - loose and simple because I have natural hair. Nothing fancy or tight. That's not what I got.
Customer service - Does not exist. More than halfway through the braiding process, I started to see that the edges were not what I requested and politely asked them to take down a few and redo them and Maty refused. Problem with braids is, you can't have someone else fix another person's mistake. So if the initial braider refuses to fix the hair, you're SOL. Even when I told her I would be willing to pay extra to get what I initially requested for, she refused stating I won't like it anyway (??). Really? To top it all, she started threatening me verbally, made wild hand gestures and requested payment with half my hair still undone... Scary.
Final product - I absolutely HATE the way my braids turned out. Before we started, I showed them pictures of what I wanted and what I DID NOT want. She wasn't willing to admit that they messed up, nor willing to fix it. I paid $180 of my hard earned money for a product that I detest. Such a racket!
