Since our last horrible experience there wherein one of the hair dressers snatched the phone out of my hand and still didn't cut his hair correctly with a picture while the other complained that she wanted to "go back to Africa" because she doesn't like NC, they have now refused to serve us. We were provided a gift card to go back for a haircut and when attempting to sign in for a haircut, we were told, "I can't serve you." The hairdresser who stated we weren't going to be served turned around and walked away. This place has the most incompetent and rude employees with no concept of customer service and no ability to correctly cut hair. Unfortunately, the lady who normally cuts his hair - and does a PHENOMENAL job - is on maternity leave with an unknown return date. She was the ONLY reason we went there. You would think in a military town that a military style haircut would be simplistic.

They messed up my hair completely, I look stupid. They cut it way too short and now itâ€™s too thin for me to do anything. I donâ€™t even want to leave my house.

Did not bleach hair right and when I asked for someone else acted ghetto like was gonna hit me they say u leave satisfied My Ass

I went there to get my hair trimmed and get bangs done....I stood at the register for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to check me in and no one ever did so I sat down instead....There was 3 to 4 workers who walked right by me and never once acknowledged that I was even there....I understand they were busy and all but there was other people going in and getting waited on right then and there.....I sat there for more than 30 minutes waiting for someone to ask me if I had been checked in and what I needed done....I will never ever go back there ever again.....I will only go to the one in Havelock....

I had such a bad experience at what was supposed to be the best place to go to get your hair done in morehead. They dyed my hair an awful color and had horrible customer service. My classmate recommended this smart style salon because his sister worked there. I went to go see her and she was amazing! She fixed my hair, and gave me the color I wanted. She spent quality time with me and guided me through the whole process. I will always return to this salon and ask for the same person. Thank you Smart Style for fixing my hair!
