It took them like 10-15 minutes to get me in a chair even though I made an appointment. The wash wasnâ€™t even relaxing, it was just quick and to the point. The girl that cut my hair didnâ€™t thin out my hair- I said a trim and she butchered the hair around my face.

I can't speak on all the stylists but my experience with one was horrible. All I wanted was a half inch off, others wanted $34, they asked for half that and had good reviews. To start off they are all very friendly and family oriented. So I went in 9 months pregnant, I wanted a hair cut before giving birth. My split ends made me feel ugly (pregnancy brain makes no sense). I told her what I wanted, specifically mentioning I need to be able to put it in a bun, and I also told her that if the cut goes well I'll get it dyed also. I asked if she would like to see a picture and she said it was an easy cut, there was no need I got something completely different than I asked for, and it messed up my hair. She cut close to two inches off, gave me layers when I had just asked her not to, and thinned my already thinned hair without asking me. When I seen it all I wanted to was cry. She told me that, it'll look better when I washed it. It didn't. It has taken 2 hair cuts so far to fix the odd way she cut it. Growing my hair out for almost a year and now it no longer reaches the top of my neck. Save yourself the trouble, pay the extra $17 for a real hair salon

Brittany M. is the go to girl! I have a pixie cut so Iâ€™m very picky but she always does a good job. And when sheâ€™s not there, Iâ€™m comfortable with anyone at MaterCuts to help me.

When you come here and sign in and grab a seat you will begin to notice after about 20 min of waiting people that come in after you get to the chair before you do. Appears to be very unorganized. Will not return
