We took our son to Snip-It's for his first and second haircut. Our son is under two and still gets really upset by haircuts. The first time went better than the second, and the hairdresser attempted to calm him or comfort him a few times, but the second time I don't think she said one word to him. The goal was speed alone. The first time we were really pleased with his haircut the second time not so much. It's awkward, uneven and he has a scratch above his eye from her trying to hold his head still. They have TVs at each station, but both times they didn't turn them on, so there was no distraction. They don't take appointments. There's no where for kids to play while they wait. The hairdressers don't talk to your kids. It's a kids hair salon, but it could be more kid-friendly.

Service was slow for the haircut. It's like a trap. We bought a bundle for 5 haircuts, and it took about three years before we used it all, and my kids already grew into tweens and didn't want to go there anymore. But I had use the rest of the haircuts because I paid for them already. The haircuts are nice though, and the little feathers you can buy are pretty. The feathers do break rather quickly, and the black part that clipped onto my daughter's hair was stuck there for a couple months.

Only place that can cut my screaming uncontrollable child's head and it actually looks great when were finished! A bit pricey but definitely worth it

The positives: the staff is always friendly, and my boys have always received great hair cuts. A bit pricier than a Great Clips or Best Cuts, but they just handle children so much better. We've had haircuts turn out great even through an entire sitting of tears. The negatives: The price I already mentioned, but the biggest complaint, by far, has to be the lack of appointments or online check-in (which Great Clips does perfectly). Every parent knows that little ones don't do well with waiting, and the waits here can be brutally bad. First-come, first-served is a horrible model with kids involved.
