this place has relocated to COmmercial St. SE. 10/29/21 NEVER, EVER, NEVER AGAIN. I can see why there have been no new reviews in years. I asked for a below-chin length, fringy-tousled volume shag with razored tips at the bottom of style. I even had pictures! - this is the length I want, this is the style. 'Stylist' Margaret assured me she is very experienced in a wide variety of current trends. **I had to stop her after she cut a HUGE gap at the left ear area. Outrageously unprofessional. The only way to 'fix it' was that she then kept trying to 'even it up' by making it shorter, and shorter. I now have a hacked, helmet-head long pixie with absolutely NO volume. The worse is that I had to pay for this. Oh well it will grow out - in a year or so. In the meantime I'll be wearing a hat. Save your money and your personal style - never ever choose Sudio M in Salem. EVER.

First time customer life time client! I decided to color my hair on my own and it went wrong... of course! But I called Studio M and got a booking with Mindi and she saved my hair! She got rid of all the brassiness in my hair and gave me a great cut and color with beautiful highlights! Will definitely go back and definitely recommend!

All the ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Margaret did a fantastic job! I was a little nervous doing something new, but I was so happy with the end result. I definitely plan to go back!
