I don't usually write reviews, but I thought I could send on some positive words this time. The sales associates are SO helpful here! I'm always greeted when I walk in, and I can find what I need pretty easily. Having worked retail in the past, I understand that the cashiers and others on the sales floor might be helping multiple guests at the same time. The last time I was in, the manager actually helped me to find the perfect products! When I got in line, I was taken care of quickly. The cashier asked me for my phone number and pulled up my rewards account before I could even reach into my Wallet for my rewards card! She was so nice and even got me some free samples to take home. I definitely love coming here for the wide selection of products, but I keep coming back for the amazing customer service! Keep it up ladies!

This is only concerning the Ulta in Warwick, because the Ulta in Smithfield was amazing (unfortunately they were booked so I had to go to Warwick). So, I showed up for my 12:15 appointment and they tell me I’m not in the system... Their organization is terrible and they showed no sympathy. I had hair and makeup booked for my senior prom. I ended up scrambling to find somewhere else (which I luckily did). So, if you end up going here... I’d make sure you call them to confirm your appointment rather than just responding to the email. There was some fault on my part as I didn’t bring my phone with the appointment verification, but if I had, that still wouldn’t change their response as they filled my spot so they only offered to put me in for 2:30, but only for my hair since they didn’t have time for makeup. It’s a business, I get it... but taking responsibility for your mistakes would be appreciated.

Literally every single time I go to Ulta when they are running a promotion, specifically for a "free gift," there is a problem and an excuse as to why they can not follow through with what they promised. For this reason, I have not shopped here in a few years. However, today, I saw that they were having a great sale on jumbo size Matrix shampoos, and it happened to come with a free gift of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer sample. The sales clerk insisted that there was no free gift with my purchase, and for a small bottle of moisturizer and for the fact that I was in a hurry, I didn't feel like arguing; however, I am thinking that the staff should be aware of promotions they are running. Not going back any time soon.

I love Ulta! They have great products and TONS of brands! They have fake nails, makeup, masks, nail polish, hair accessories and even a mini hair salon!

My African American husband went in to check and see if they carried a particular product in their store. (Products for AA men, especially, can be hard to find in some cities) As we assumed, they didn't carry anything he needed. My kids and I were waiting in the car. As he walked out, I watched three, white women employed by Ulta watching him, suspiciously mind you, walk out to our car and then proceed to talk amongst themselves while pointing and staring at him some more. Whatever they were saying even got the customer at the counter staring too!!! As my husband got in the car, he said that was the most uncomfortable he felt walking in an establishment in a LONG time and even one of the employees was following him around as soon as he walked in. May I just add my husband is in the US Navy and has been serving for 14 years!? But would they still be following him if he was wearing a uniform?? Idk. But we will NOT be returning there to find out that's for sure! They were even staring at our car so hard, I got sick of it and made hand gestures as to asking what their problem is and they then backed away from the windows....I'm absolutely appalled. Racist p.o.s. people!!!
