This place was terrible. We went on June 9th to get our hair done for my friends wedding. 3 bridesmaids and the bride. I wanted loose, wavy curls. I looked like a 12 year old pageant girl by the time the lady was done. The curls were super tight. The woman who did my hair told me that my curls would be relaxed by the time the wedding happened. 4 hours later and many many brush throughs, I still looked like a participant in a little girl's pageant and my hair stayed that way the whole wedding and for the pictures. I HATED IT. I looked like a child. There was also a pregnant woman with blonde, short hair who did one of the other bridesmaids hair who basically left her high and dry and didn't even finish doing her hair! She just walked away after simply curling it and the bridesmaid had to go get her and tell her she hadn't finished! She was supposed to have had a curled half up hair do with braid. Ross was extremely annoying as well. He wouldn't leave us alone and went so far as to make comments about our size and looks and how we didn't look old enough to be married, etc etc. Very ageist and unprofessional. He kept saying we all looked 14 and we are actually ages 25-32. This experience was horrid and I will never do business with Ross ththe Boss ever again.
RESPONSE TO OWNER: Okay, well now everyone can see that you are blaming the customer for the experience, not your staff. I completely understand I and 2 of the other girls were not the bride. But that should NEVER mean you purposefully don't work to the same standard. That's not professional. And you're going to come after me because most of my reviews on here are bad ones?? If I have had a fantastic experience, I tell ththe establishment in person and talk to managers in person. It makes a bigger impact. If I've had a bad experience, I post online. Obviously, that's the best route, or a phone call, if you don't ever want to go back and a phone call in this case would do nothing. And what about the other bridesmaid? She deserved to be LEFT IN THE CHAIR, unfinished? She was furious but I'm the only one who will say something so here I am. Have a nice day and thank you for proving my point by blaming the customer.
