Called ahead to be sure that someone would be available, and Maya cheerfully said, "Come on in!" Upon my arrival, she welcomed me with a bright smile and a charming disposition (I'm an old writer, let me have this). It was very easy to convey what I wanted, which was basically to trim away some damaged ends. Maya came up with an ingenious way of ensuring she cut just the right amount of hair, and that my hair would look and feel super smooth and healthy. After I walked in looking like a scarecrow and walked out feeling like a supermodel, all I've got to say is, Maya is absolutely A*M*A*Z*I*N*G!!! Not only is she technically proficient, but she's kind and friendly. The visit was a treat from start to finish. I shall most definitely look forward to making Maya my regular stylist, if she'll have me! 🤠

I debated on posting this because the lady that cut my hair was very sweet and I’m really bad at speaking up for myself. But she totally botched my hair. I had to go home and have my mom cut it all off like a boy. I showed 2 pictures of shoulder length hair and she left the back shoulder length and the sides were cut up to my ears. It was like a mullet. Not even remotely close to the photos I showed her. AND she did the whole cut with my hair bone-dry and used a razor the whole time. It really really hurt. I am devastated that I paid $50 and tipped an extra $5 just to go out to my car and cry so hard. I wish I would have spoke up in the salon but I have really bad anxiety when it comes to confrontation. This is the best I can do. I’m so upset about my hair. :(
