My boyfriend recommended Jimmy and i decided to give him a shot. He told me to show him a picture and he could cut my hair to match the style. Needless to say, I am still getting haircuts with Jimmy. He is the nicest guy and really knows what he is doing. As an African American female with extensions, I am always weary of having a new person I haven't previously worked with cut or style my hair. He put me at ease right away and knows how to deal with many different textures. He works with how your hair falls naturally and ensures the style works with the shape of your face. I couldn't be happier and highly recomment California Cuts.

I have been getting my hair cut by Jimmy at California Cuts for 3 years and as long as I live in Austin, he's my barber! I've gone to dozens of different barbers over the years, and what Jimmy does with my hair is incredible. All I have to do is show him a picture of the look I want and he makes it happen! If I ask him how to style it, he'll show me how to do it so I can get my hair looking just like the photo I showed him. He even lets me record the steps with my phone, so I can watch it again later at home. My hair has never looked so good before, I get compliments all the time now. Thanks Jimmy!
