Called and made appointment with Jennifer for my wife to get a wash, trim and perm. Was told it would be about $200 which I agreed to. Took my wife in for the appointment and showed Jen a picture of what she wanted done. (First picture) Told her that she had a perm five years ago that was hated and that it took five years to grow out. (Second picture) Jen said that was not a problem she could do just like the first picture. The third picture is my wife's hair today. I waited a week to let the prem relax and go thru a few washings. Not only did she give my wife the style she had waited five years to grow out. She ruined her hair in the process. As you can see the color is nowhere even close to the requested color and even a week later my wife's scalp is still red and sore. My wife and I both were very explicit about the fact she wanted waves not little rings and showed the first picture a few times to make sure she understood what was wanted. To add insult to injury the $200 agreed upon was raised to $320. When I went to give her my credit card she said I couldn't use a credit card because her scanner was broke. When I said that I only had $200 cash on me, she said that she could do the $120 on the scanner if I gave her the $200 cash. Of course the scanner worked perfectly. I think she just didn't want to give us the time to think about what she had done to my wife's hair. She knew if I left to go to the ATM and we discussed what she had done, that there was a good chance that she would get nothing for the job she had done on my wife's hair. We did question the fact that the hair was the wrong color and that it looked like rings and not waves she said that the color that my wife wanted wasn't right for Asian women and that the hair would relax after it was washed. I will be reaching out to the management about this but I am sure that will be a waste of time. But would rather do that before we see a lawyer just so we can say that we tried to work with the salon. Click on my name to see the pictures
