Well may be I am not lucky to get my haircut done at this place. Like everyone else, who would check reviews before calling, I called. Twice. And was not able to make any headways making appointment. The answer was that we booked two weeks ahead, but seem nothing can be booked beyond that. I also tried to book using their website - no luck there either. So, I have decided to visit the place and make appointment that way. Saturday at 2:45PM 15 min before the closing I have visited saloon and got more detailed answer - we booked 2 weeks and... not taking any new clients! Awesome!!

I'm a recent resident to Virginia from Hawaii, and had to give up my 'haircutter' of 30 + years...when I relocated here. I'm very particular about the quality of haircuts that I receive. My previous haircutter (Vidall Sasson trained) would normally spend about a half-hour cutting ('what's left of' - I'm 67 y/o) my hair. For the last year and a half, I've been seaching for a haircutter (in the Charlottesville area) who would spend the time, cutting my hair 'precisely'! All other cutters (especially from a major franchise) would spend only 5-10 minutes, working on my hair. I was 'NEVER' fully satisfied. "Marty"(owner/proprietor) of "Kim's Hair Salon" (also Vidal Sasson) trained, was the perfect cutter I had been looking for! Her hair-cut was "VERY PRECISE"! Exactly, what I had been looking for! I hope to become a regular 'client' of hers'! Thank-you so much 'Marty' (I'm "finally" satisfied)...Dennis Yokoyama

A nice hair salon owned by a very professional lady. She can def cut asian men's hair. Salon seems to be very busy but Marty (owner) takes time making sure you are satisfied with your hair. Recommended 10/10.

Marty has been doing my hair for several years. I now travel from Augusta County to see her. She always makes my hair look great and I get many compliments. And she's a wonderful person.
