If possible I would put NO stars for this Ulta. Yesterday I walked into the store to return a skin care product that was recommended prior, and literally BURNED the skin off of my face. Prior to returning I decided to go look at other skin care products to exchange it for. As I was looking down the isle, an associate who I unfortunately did not get a name for approached me asking to help. I said no, and then two minutes later she came over and proceeded to ask me "Do you need a moisturizer for your dry skin or something for your acne?". Completely inappropriate for her to say such a thing. You are a beauty store, not my dermatologist. At this point, I just grabbed an item and stormed off toward the checkout counter so I could leave the store. At the register, I was greeted by the cashier "Gabrielle" who then lectured me about the product I was returning and trying to give me more skin care tips. I am grateful for skin care tips, but I had already picked out a product that I had used in the past and just wanted to purchase it. Gabrielle then proceeded to ring up that new item and say to me, "This product will work great to get rid of this" and then pointed on HER face in the exact spot I have a blemish.
I find it so inappropriate and demeaning that Ulta would employee and allow their employees to be disrespectful to customers. You do not point out others blemishes. If I had said "I need something for this dry skin or this pimple," then proceed to acknowledge my blemish. If you want people's business, you need to have HR come in and give a lesson on how not to offend customers. I will never step foot into this store again and will be taking all of my business to Sephora.
