I have been working for Hairspray Salon for over 5 years now, and loving it! I was referred right out of high school by our sales representative from Twin State to interview for the position. Coincidentally, the sales rep from Cosmo Prof also mentioned me to Tara, so for me it was meant to be. I immediately started work and she helped me gain the confidence I needed to retain clients and put myself out there while improving my skill set as we went along, without her there is no way I would be the stylist that I am today. She also gives me great hair ALWAYS, which can be quite a challenge since it is super thick and on the longer side. We always do something different and like to show off our fun style through our hair!

You will love your hair when you leave Hairspray Salon. All of the ladies are amazing and know all of the current hairstyles. They love color and aren't afraid to use it ;-) Be bold and adventurous, try a new color today!

I came here because of all the recent 5stars review. The last few salons i went to were in maryland. I read about where the girls here went to school and it had said paul mitchell. Which is a great! (Correct me if i read that wrong) anyways i looked up a few other salon near by to see which one i should try for the first time. I wanted to support my local community. As i had said i came base on the 5 star reviews of how great it was. This review is base on my experience and my goal isn't to tell anyone not to go but just to share my truthful experience. My head was in pain. I was asked if i was being hurt and to be polite my respond was i was fine. Which apparently meant yes bcus the girl doing my hair laughed and said that meant yes. So im thinking ok so she knows shes hurting me so it will stop. It did not and im not angry im jus sharing the truth and if reviews allow us to be helpful i hope im helping by saying "please think about your costumers head". I understand if an employees job becomes comfortable or theres personal issues or whatever is happening. Im pretty understanding but Coming to the salon was my mothers day gift so i was so excited to get an amazing experience. The bottom color i ended up getting is absolutely beautiful i couldnt get it at home. So i don't wanna sound ungrateful i thank yu for that. The blending of the bottom highlight to my natural top color is disappointing. Its from a complete black to a beautiful ashy blonde. I will upload a picture. Other Salons i had been to when they dyed my hair the girls any time she walked away she would explain what shes done and how long i will be sitting there. I was informed. This place did not. i felt like my hair was slapped with color and jus left alone for a while with no knowledge of anything. I was offered a drink but by the time i was i didnt want it bcus i jus wanted to be done and be out. I did not get an amazing experience. I felt like me coming to color my hair was a bother. I dislike being a bother so it made me sad. Im in love with the color which is all in the bottom. But My head was yanked and it hurt so bad. I dont have fine hair so if this place was not use to that im sry. I dont mean to bad talk the place i just want to put in my honest experienced. So......pros and cons.... I defintely Felt like a bother I love how the bottom turn out. the blending is disappointing n i know it was followed by my awful guide of my mistake color i did home but i figured this place was pro so i thought they would fix the bold harsh colors to blend nicely. I was going to reschedule to do my whole head the bottom color but my experience was not amazing and im scared to get my head yanked bcus its thick. This place is great for quick simple cuts and colors for fine hair 🖒 P.s I promise i tipped. Little over 20% Its not fair not to bcus idk my hair dressers story and if she wasnt having a great day id hope that my tip blessed her and made her day a bit better. Thank yu for the bottom color.
