There is something to be said about the customer experience, and unfortunately this salon failed to deliver a good one. Although the staff was friendly, it lacked transparency or it is just out right deceitful.
I was told one price by the receptionist but the stylist charged me double. While I understand that people can make mistakes, it was the stylist’s responsibility to tell me that they would be charging me more. The stylist expressed some concern when she mentioned that the receptionist did not allot the correct amount of time for my hair but she never mentioned that she will be charging me extra nor did she confirm the price with me. It is at that moment and the moment when she had to get more hair color that she should have been forthcoming and tell me that the price was going up. However, it is not until she collected payment that this came up for discussion. I would have been more than understanding had she had a discussion with me but she chose not to be forthcoming, which is what ultimately ruined the customer experience for me.
