As soon as I walked in for my appointment, she asked if she could reschedule me. I couldn't reschedule, so we proceeded with a haircut. As I was telling her what I wanted, she was condescending and imposed her opinion. We went back and forth for a few minutes deciding on what to do, and it sort of felt like we were fighting. I should have left then, but for some reason didn't. She wouldn't accept my wishes, and just said we would take the cut slow and one step at a time. This did not happen and she ended up doing what she wanted with my hair.
I went back the next day to tell her I was unhappy with the cut and she offered to give me a refund. Honestly, she was nice and there were aspects of the cut that were well done (she did a great job thinning it out and giving it texture), but it was not what I wanted and there were parts of the cut that were not right for my face, which I knew before hand as I've had this face my whole life.
I didn't know if I should leave a review as I delivered my complaint in person, but after reading other people's reviews I thought I should put my experience out there to validate other similar experiences.
If you don't know what you want done with your hair, Dyan might do a good job. If you do know what you want done with your hair, I'd go somewhere else.
