I am absolutely disappointed with this service I experienced here . I came in with black hair wanting to go blonde obvious it wouldn’t happen in 1 session but ... they told me they would strip it which it went yellow and deep orange but they then told me they would put high lights and then do the rest a level 8 blonde .. they were closing so after the highlights were in the rest was RUSHED ... she then razored my bags off :( no style to them or anything I left this salon crying and my hair had highlights that were silver to yellow to orange ... some look grey ! Tons of bleeds in all through and ORANGE hair :/ plus they charged us 300$ for this ... I would NEVER GO BACK THERE EVER AGAIN! I’m so upset!!! I’m now going to another saloon to fix this mess :( I can’t believe they send there clients out the door like this :(

Stopped here as a walk in as I was desperate for a cut. Peter fortunately had a cancelation and I got in. This was honestly the best hair cut I have had in a long while (and I had a very high end stylist before this who, sadly for me, just moved to BC). And speedy (time was of the essence for me)! And the best scalp massage! And at an amazing price! Needless to say I have already booked my follow up appointment. Highly recommend. (short hair ladies cut)

I’ve been getting Peter to cut my hair for over 5 years. I don’t have a lot of hair left (sad for a 34 year old) but honestly he is able to style what’s left of it which is why I don’t just shave it off. After this long there’s no limits to our conversation which always makes for a good laugh. I highly recommend this locally owned business for all your hair needs!

You'd never expect it from a hair salon in a Superstore, but Sphinx has the service, product, and ability of any New York salon at a phenomenal price. Whatever you ask for, Peter will provide an honest opinion and alternatives that maaaaybe suit your face a little better, and will not let you leave that chair until you're happy. And it's easy to be happy with his jokes and cheerful nature! As someone who is not particular about my hair I thoroughly enjoy his precision, his care, and his determination to do an amazing job because every client who sits down trusts him to. I certainly do.
