Astoundingly rude customer service. I did not even go through with my first appointment due to the unbelievably horrid service and treatment I received over the phone, from literally every person I spoke with. Preposterous really. Reminder as well as reality check: There are loads of other salons who do not disrespect their customers and which have basic human social skills, Eveline Charles is nothing at all and certainly nothing to have some delusioned false sense of grandeur or whatever it is about - I truly can not comprehend what is going through these peoples minds. I do not not know how they have any customers whatsoever, but they have lost my business.

Chona gave me an amazing pedicure. She took her time and made sure my toes were healthy and pretty. She was so sweet and truly cared about my comfort. My feet have never felt or looked so good. I would see Chona again in a heartbeat.

I had Ashley today. He did an amazing job on my hair. I have a sensitive scalp, and he was a little rough on it... but I'm super happy with the results. My hair usually takes forever to cut and style....he was much faster than any other stylist I've had before, which was amazing. The salon is clean and staff are friendly. Very happy!

I am new to Calgary and haven't had my hair done in a salon in 5 years, but I decided to bite the bullet and went to the Eveline Charles salon in CORE to have my hair done before an important job interview. I went for a ombré refresh and Janice took me on as her last client of the day. Long story short, the colour didn't turn out the way I think either of us had really expected. She saw this on my face and gave me the opportunity to express my feelings about it without making me feel uncomfortable or rude (where I would have actually just gone home and cried!). She worked with me to find the best possible solution to the problem and instead of trying to pass the responsibility, she fully accepted that she needed to do something different. Janice and the lovely receptionist, both stayed till well past the salon and mall were shut to make sure everything was perfect. My hair looked lovely as a result, and Janice herself looked so much happier to see I loved it. In fact, as I left the salon, I passed a man on the street who told me how wonderful my hair looked (you literally couldn't have planned it any better). Janice was an absolute professional and I really appreciated the time and effort she put into fixing her mistake. I will absolutely being going back to her when my hair next needs doing and would recommend others to see her too.
