I absolutely love Compassionate Beauty and the Compassionate Beauty Team! When I first walked into Compassionate Beauty, I was anxious, uncomfortable and sad, as I knew my hair would be falling out shortly as a result of chemo, but I needed a wig and some head coverings. Immediately, Saundra, the founder/owner, walked over and invited me into a private room. She brought out one wig and popped it on â€“ it was absolutely perfect - my natural color and styleâ€“ on a great hair day I might add! That was easy! Then Sondra then popped on a bright hat that matched my lipstick â€“ the pop of color was great on me! I also picked up a ball cap with hair - which is so fun and so easy to throw on! All in all, I was so pleased with the products and absolutely loved the very professional, nurturing experience. By the way, I get so many compliments on my hair (wig)! It is my natural color and cut that no one, except those very close to me, knows it is a wig. Thank you Compassionate Beauty for making a difficult personal experience, actually a nurturing, life giving and yes, a fun experience. I have been back to Compassionate Beauty a couple of times now - for the loving hair shave, first wig wash and style and my experience continues to be nurturing, life affirming and I always walk out feeling better than when I walked in. I will be back, as Compassionate Beauty offers other services such as massage!

I consider Compassionate Beauty to be part of my breast cancer wellness team & highly recommend this store. The professional caring staff at Compassionate Beauty has been my go to expert resource for medical products, clothes & body care services since diagnosis; during chemo, post surgery and now in my daily living. In this store, Iâ€™m calmed in serene surroundings filled with encouragement, laughter & solution for my needs. They carry a vast array of wigs & breast forms for all body types. I like that I donâ€™t need to shop several stores ti find pocketed bras & clothing. I purchased special cooling pjâ€™s for my newly acquired â€˜night sweatsâ€™, wow what a difference they have made for my sleep comfort! I find Compassionate Beauty is reasonably priced for all their specialties. Recently I went to another shop to view wigs as my hair is not growing back as well as I had hoped and wanted to see what other hair options are available. I visited Compassionate Beauty the next day after receiving negative reception from the other store. Within moments Compassionate Beauty was able to help me and provide me with a beautiful hair solution. I am forever grateful to have found this unique top notch womenâ€™s boutique.

I recently took my Mom in to Compassionate Beauty after having a negative experience at a different Wig Store in the city, and I'm so glad I did! I called Compassionate Beauty and spoke with Cynthia to ask if it was possible for the wig my mom had already purchased elsewhere to be fixed, and to see if there was an alternative to wig clips for the wig to stay on better. She was very friendly and understanding, and fit my Mom in for an appointment later that day. This place truly is a godsend for women experiencing hair loss and the emotional trauma that comes with it. You get your very own private room with an actual hair dresser that looks just like a mini hair salon to be fitted for wigs, have your hair cut, or in my Mom's case to have her wig purchased elsewhere properly cut and styled. My Mom decided to keep the hair she has left for now, but it was nice to know that she had the option of getting it trimmed, as she wouldn't have felt comfortable being seen at a regular salon at this difficult time. Colleen honestly was a miracle worker in fixing the once bulky wig, she really made it look like real hair and patiently explained how to keep the wig on using a headband (it's way better than just using wig clips and only 25.00 for the headband.) Colleen was a very good listener and such a genuine, kind hearted person. My Mom is looking forward to purchasing her next wig from Compassionate Beauty. Her synthetic wig purchased elsewhere is netted, but all of Compassionate Beauty's wigs have clear caps so they look a lot more natural for the same price range around 450 for really nice synthetic wigs. Synthetic wigs are a much better option for my mom than real hair because it's lower maintenance to not have to style it herself. It's really nice to have a wide variety of options of wigs here with zero sales pressure. I highly recommend Compassionate Beauty and making an appointment with Colleen.

I just went there to get a wig after my hair fell out from chemo and I couldn't be happier! I met Colleen and she found me a beautiful wig that looked similar to my hair before. I went back a week later and she had coloured and styled it beautifully! All the ladies at this place are incredibly kind and made me feel beautiful! I am so happy I found this place and would recommend it to anyone!

Thank you to the team at Compassionate Beauty for making my unfortunate journey with cancer, easier. I had used their services after having breast surgery, to find a breast prosthesis. Sandra fitted me and helped me find a new bra. I walked out of the store that day feeling confident and much more "normal." Recently, I was back after beginning chemotherapy, to have my head shaved and to have my new wig, purchased there, fitted. It was not an easy appointment, but I had a group of friends with me for support, and the appointment went as best as it possibly could. Again, I was extremely happy with the wig Sandra helped me chose. Colleen had highlighted the wig, she cut in bangs for me during the appointment, and she showed me how to put the wig on and care for it. At the end, we took a picture of me in my "new hair" and sent it to my husband. He actually thought that I hadn't gone through with the head shaving and that I still had my normal hair. Again, I walked out of the store feeling great, and I went and had lunch with my friends. I had tried on wigs in two other places. However, I found that at Compassionate Beauty, they listened to me the best, and the quality of the wig is amazing. I would recommend Compassionate Beauty because how I feel about my appearance is very important to me as I go through this experience. It is important to my mental and emotional well being.
