NEGATIVE NEGATIVE NEGATIVE. What a waste of $140 ($85 for highlights + $45 for haircut)!!! it actually made me really sad, so don't come to this salon.
February 22, 2016 I decided to go to JADE Salon. It was my first time there. The last time I went to a salon was back in 2010. I usually color my own hair, but since my hair is getting very long I decided to go get it professionally done. My hair color is naturally black, however I colored it blonde in 2015, but recently my black roots started to show again with a few grey hairs in the front, which is why I decided to get my hair re done professionally.
So as usual, I brought some photos with me to show Jade the style of hair I like with "specific" hair-color/highlights. What blows me away is that she even gave me her book of colors and I specifically choose "Ash Blonde" prior for highlights. Well, not only did she not listen to my request, she also did whatever she wanted with my hair. She didn't fix my roorts, and left my grey hair as well. Her version of "ash blonde" highlights is a step lighter than my old ugly brown hair (I could very well do the same thing at home using my own regular hair-dye product). It looks so terrible. I even told her I wanted to go black with "ash blonde highlights" (because those were the PHOTOS I showed her to begin with)!!! She wanted me to come back months after to get my highlights better instead of fixing the problem....WOW!!!!! She also argued with me instead, then proceeded to sugarcoat the whole situation saying "she didn't want to ruin my hair." Whaaaaaaat? If this was the case then why not be honest during the consultation instead of lying to me the whole time. In the end you ruined my hair, took my money, and wasted my time!
FOR YOUR INFORMATION JADE: I had my hair done the way I showed you in the photos (not only once but 3 times before), and it didn't ruin my hair. I also called your business the next day and left a voicemail, hoping to get my hair fixed (free of charge), but you didn't care and never even bothered to phone back.
All of this could have been easily resolved if she would have contacted me and fixed the mistake she made the first time. In the end I simply purchased my won hair-dye and did it myself. It pains me to write a negative review in the first place, but this is the worst customer service I've had in a long time, and don't want others going through the same situation.
