Horrible experience; I'm so glad that I got a free coupon to this place because I would not have wanted to pay for what I got. I went to get my long hair cut short (to clarify I'm pre op transexual, so I look very tomboyish) and was immediately met with a judgemental look and a 'Are you sure?' from the stylist serving me after I showed her an image of the style I wanted. Not only did I not get the hairstyle I wanted, I got a WAY shorter style that was clearly made to look feminine and cute instead of androgynous. During the haircut the stylist made comments about my eye brows and asked if I 'considered getting them shaped'; told me my skin and hair were oily and that my shampoo didn't work, and that I should wear a dress. As a cherry on top of this cake she brought up politics-- a MAJOR no no in any profession. Would NOT recommend this salon; most especially if you're sensitive about your appearance, your gender, or your political standing.
