I've been going to cherry since I was an enfant! No joke. And the reason I kept going back for all these years is because she will always give me the exact look I want. Made the mistake once of spending an exuberant amount of money at a yaletown salon for a mediocre hair cut by a "professional stylist". Will never make that mistake again!

Experienced Korean hairstylist...Cherry is great...limited English but if you have a hair style you want done....just show her a picture and she will turn you into a star...she is a neighbourhood little secret and a gem...and her prices are very reasonable for both men and women...

Cherry Beauty Salon is a very well known establishment in the community. I have been coming here for years and am always satisfied with Cherry's passion, dedication and quality of work. Not only is she skilled with hair cuts/styling/dye jobs/perms but she's also amazing at make up! She did an amazing job for my wedding hair & make up. I don't know what I will do when she retires!

Cherry is the best. Her reputation is known in the Korean community in the GVR. After spending way too much money on "master stylists" at what are supposedly the best salons in the city, she still stands out at a fraction of the price. I currently live in Toronto and whenever I'm back in van, I make an appointment. Trust her with your cut, she knows what works and doesn't work with your face and will let you know if she thinks it wont. She also did an excellent job with my permanent makeup - at a better price than the majority of places. (note: i've never had colouring or a perm done with her so i cant make a fair opinion on those services.) also, she has cute jewellery and hair accessories on display that are really lovely, not too expensive.
