June, 2019 - 5 Stars: Since my last review I have been coming to this location for a year straight, and now that I'm leaving town, I'm just sad I won't get to come back! Sherri is an excellent stylist whose work I have adored. My hair is very difficult to work with - I hate doing it myself. Sherri not expertly cuts it in a flattering way, but each time I see her has new suggestions for ways to best care for my hair, and to style it! I also love that she - and the other stylists here, a few of whom I have seen when Sherri was not available - are happy to have a back-and-forth about your hair goals, what cut you're looking for, and what would best flatter your face. I love to be a little adventurous every couple of cuts, and do something outside of my comfort zone, or that I haven't done before, but I find myself lost in all the options. Especially when the internet is full of celebs who can afford to maintain any style and make it look natural! The ladies here love to suggest new things to try, even new things they've learned. When I was wanting to try a bolder look, but not sure what, I rattled a few ideas off, and Sherri picked up on one of them (shaving part of it) and suggested an undercut! It was the perfect bit of rebellion I was looking for, but not too drastic, easily hidden - with the added bonus of cutting some of the volume out of my ridiculous mane! I could go on, but I'd be here all day. All-in-all, I can't say enough good about this salon. It is of course, a salon, marketed at women, so that comes with the usual up-selling of their hair care products, and high prices for some things. But their hair care products usually aren't necessary (and they don't tell you they are), just a luxury if you can afford it - which sometimes I can, and haven't regretted it. And the care given to you in the salon, the quality of the cut that you get, and the superb customer service, are warranted a higher cost. At the end of the day, salons are really personal. You have to enjoy the atmosphere and your stylist. I would simply suggest that this be high on your list to try. July, 2018 - 4 Stars: Excellent service, lovely staff! I've had my hair cut here 3 times by Sherri, who has done an excellent job, especially with my difficult-to-manage mane of hair. I even had my hair and makeup done here for my prom and I adored both jobs. Sherri, who did my hair, even put roses I had brought with me into my do. A little pricey, but worth it for the quality.

Friendly staff. Though very slow. Nice cut. Yet my colour is terrible, I am just about to drive to Walmart and buy a home hair colour to do myself. I wouldn't trust them to colour my hair ever again, it's a mess.

Love this place great salon. I was a bit apprehensive switching from my barber in Toronto but Sherri has done a great job each time with my hair. Great place for a mens cut.
