Getting a haircut is a form of self-care that we can only do so much, and for me to want to feel cared for for half an hour is not too much to ask.
I called very last minute on Sunday afternoon and they were able to take me in at 4:15, which is great! I walked in and the salon is nicely set-up, clean, and welcoming. But as soon as I was left with my stylist the experience was awful. She never introduced herself and I never got her name throughout my visit, my partner was with me and when she asked if there was a place for her to sit and wait my stylist was already 10ft away not caring if I'm following and just points in the general direction of a chair and keeps walking - could have said here you go, make yourself comfortable instead of that rude answer. My stylist was unpleasant, grumpy, and made me very uncomfortable especially when she threw the brush beside the sink when she was done using it. Did not have any conversation or even say "have a good day" at the end of my visit.
My haircut sucks, it is uneven and people have commented on it multiple times.
I called and spoke with a manager to address my experience, she asked me if I wanted that person to fix it for me or if she can, I scheduled an appointment with her, I called to cancel the appointment as I am going out of town but the appointment was not on file and non-existent.
Thank you Chatters for the awful haircut and making me feel unwelcome and not cared for.
Never coming back.
