My absolute favorite spa of all time! The girls are just amazing. They are so friendly and easy to talk to. Spa pedicure is amazing-it comes with a sundae and drinks while you relax in a dimmed room with relaxing music in a massage chair. It's my get away. Edit: I took my daughter here Sunday to see Barbie Princess and enjoy a spa experience specially for kids. We had an amazing time. My daughter loved being pampered and meeting Barbie. The girls working went above and beyond to make this a special experience. They were kind and friendly. The owner is great with kids and was really kind and helpful. Can't wait for the next one! Thank you so much Avaia Spa for making my daughter's birthday so special!

Awsome place, never got a pedicure before but was so nice to get it done, especially in a massage chair and eating a Sundae. What a day to relax. Also a hair salon massage parlour all in one. Definitely recommend nice people and for a fair price

I would not get a manicure here. My nails werenâ€™t fully painted, they were missing polish at the tips and the base, there was polish on my cuticles and fingers. It was $65 and it honestly looked like I painted my own nails blindfolded... The colour selection was also very poor. Would not waste your time or money at this salon.

While getting a pedicure and manicure at Avaia I witnessed the patience of another attendant working with a client unable to enjoy her experience. She was very unhappy with the pocking and prodding. The attendant showed patience and skill as she worked and complimented her challenged client. In the end I heard the attendant say, "That's a nice smile" and the client, who had only cried throughout said, "Thank you ". A great experience. Yes, my attendant made my day, too.

I am not usually one to write a review, but being new to the area as a lakehead student, I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted and I was not that impressed with the service I received for what I paid for, especially as a student. There was little-to-no interaction between myself and the women who did the service. I felt as though she wanted to get me out of the spa as soon as possible. She waxed way more off than I was hoping and expressed I wanted gone, left wax on my face and in my hair. Pretty much ran me out of the salon and left shortly after. I understand that maybe your shift is ending, but if you can't provide friendly service, pass me off to someone that can.
