I had a great experience! I have wavy frizzy hair and left with smooth nice curls and lots of information to keep them in place! I will for sure go back to get my hair cut and am considering doing my colour there as well! Loved it!

I have been going to Shai for around 10 years and have always found her to be very thoughtful about her advice and recommendations. I always recommend her to friends who have difficulty with their hair because thatâ€™s where she excels. She takes her expertise seriously, is always professional and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I booked 2 appointments for me and my daughter based on this hair studio's reviews. My daughter inquired about dying her hair and she said several times to Shay that she was just asking and that if there wasn't time to just do a cut since that is what we came for. Shay insisted to dye it anyways and in the process both of us left very unhappy with how rushed everything was. She charged me for a 75 minute haircut when a wash, cut, and blow dry took her less than 30 minutes to do. My biggest mistake however, was letting her cut my hair after she insulted my choice of style. Once again she didn't listen when I said my last hairstylist went on maternity leave otherwise I was very happy with her. She calls herself bluntly honest when in reality there is a difference between being blunt and being rude. I don't know if she was having a bad day but from start to finish our experience was horrible with her. She was incredibly judgmental towards us and is painting what happened in a very different light. Now I have to wait a few months to fix the haircut she gave me. Because we came here based solely on reviews I thought some people should hear our experience.
