Alyssa made my hair GORGEOUS! I don't trust many with my hair...but I'm so glad I ended up choosing this salon and having Alyssa's awesome technique and styling. She cut my hair to the perfect length (started with mid-back long curly thick hair) and she literally shaped my hair into a manageable yet still long hair cut, so I could keep it long and luscious but still be able to keep it looking classy and elegant! I'm so blown away 😍😍😍 and can't stop looking in the mirror and taking selfies!!! For once my curly hair is tamed, yet still long enough to play with and style how I like it. I needed my hair done for a very important family wedding later that day, and (by a strike of luck) got a spot with Alyssa. So my hair was perfectly coiffed for the wedding! She also did my bangs so perfectly, they fall right into place when the two strands come down (like those '90s IG hairstyles that are back in!!!) LOVING MY CUT! And I loved the service and how friendly and accepting the salon was...lastly I can't wait to come back here again soon and have a colour done by Alyssa since she did such an amazing job - I will definitely be a returning customer for a long time! SUPER IMPRESSED! 😍💇

I've been cutting my hair at this studio with Andrew for almost 10 years now. In that time I've come to Andrew for numerous hairstyles (long and short) and he's always delivered. Whether you're a guy or girl, if you want a sick fade like the ones you see on instagram then he's your guy. Fair warning though, after your haircut you'll leave feeling disgusted - disgusted at how sweet your fade is lol. Jokes aside, prior to finding this studio, I was bouncing around from stylist to stylist struggling to find someone that could cut my hair and do so consistently. Like a good family doctor or trusty mechanic everyone should have a reliable and consistent stylist and I'm grateful I found one here at The Root of Hair Studio.

Always love coming to The Root of Hair! Staff and service is always on point. Very friendly and profession atmosphere. Also, very knowledgeable staff. Andrew and Tiffani are always super sweet to all the clients. Had Amanda style my hair today. She was friendly, funny, and did amazing job on my hair! Never disappointed when I go there! Best salon in Vaughan for sure!!!😘😁

From day one I have been impressed with service provided by owners of this salon. As a long time client of 10yrs I have never left salon dissatisfied. Andrew always seems to read my mind as to particular colour or haircut I have in mind. He’s the expert so I let do his magic and I always leave Root of Hair with a smile on my face. Thank you Andrew and Tiffany for providing excellent service over the past 10yrs.

Recently moving to the area I was so happy to find this Salon. Tiffani is amazing with colour!! Andrew did such a great job cutting and styling my hair. My husband and son now go to him too.
