Melena cut my little guy's hair, but he was pretty upset so she wasn't able to get the back and sides. She said we could come back any time and anyone could fix it for us. We came back the following morning and spoke to Maria who offered a few times to come back, but my none of those times worked for us and I didn't want to wait because my little guy's hair really did look horrible. She could have quickly just taken my son and fixed his hair and apologized to her other client, but she didn't seem like she wanted to help us. I dragged my two kids (1 & 3 yrs old) to Stone Rd Mall and thankfully the barbershop there fixed his hair free of charge. I've been going to Carbon for three years and my little guy has been going for almost a year, but sadly we won't be going back after this.

I have been at Carbon Hair Studio three times now. I get my hair done by Maleena, she is so awesome! 100% worth the money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I've visited many salons and I've never had the pleasure of having my hair done by such an excellent team. The hairdressers at Carbon Hair Studio are experts in their craft (both junior and senior stylists!) and take the time to understand what you're really looking for in your hair design. I've had ombre hair done here several times and each time it looks flawless and natural. Carbon Hair Studio is a bit more expensive but more than make up for it with their excellent service, expertise, and free bang cuts between haircuts! I look forward to visiting again in the future.

I can't say enough good things about Carbon! I have been going there for cuts the past few years but this past summer started to play around with colour. Cynthia has coloured my hair the past two times I have gone. In June, she did a beautiful rose gold colour for me and now a dimensional sangria berry colour. What generally ruins my experience at a salon is when I go somewhere and get hardly any feedback about colours or changes I want. I rely a lot on my stylists opinion because they are the hair expert not me. With Cynthia, I can go in with several different photos and then she helps me pick what will be easy to maintain and what will match with my natural hair and skin tone. The salon also has such a lovely positive atmosphere. I was there for about two hours and during that time I could see how lovely the other stylists were interacting with their clients and with each other. It is really comfortable for anyone who may be intimidated by the atmosphere that other salons often have. I have tried a few places in Guelph, but Carbon is definitely the best service I have received. I will continue to go here as long as Guelph is my home and have recommended to friends over and over.
