I haven't gotten my hair done at a salon since I was a kid — my cousin's been cutting my hair, but she had to stop recently. So I asked a friend and she recommended The Cut Above. I have no regrets. Emily cut and styled my hair. She did a great job even though I felt I was a bit vague with my answers about what I wanted. I showed her pictures of what I liked and she figured me out right away. I'm also kind of quiet, and she caught on to that and made it a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Emily.

Made an appointment from out of town and I was visiting spoke to Jenny who was awesome. The day before my appointment plans changed so I wanted to change my appointment. And they were extremely accommodating. Jenny was even lovelier live! She was such a sweet, professional salon star! I was completely at her mercy and she did not gouge the cost of the service, She did a great job and I would not hesitate to go back to her if I am ever back in London. She really was a great person that made the experience enjoyable.

Aklena (I hope I spelled your name right!) is always my go-to girl. You can tell she takes pride in her work. My mother and I won't go to anyone else! The shop itself is beautiful and clean. With a friendly atmosphere.

I have been a customer of Cut Above for around 10 years. Although I am out of town, when the opportunity arises to combine a family visit with a hair cut, I am always delighted to receive their services. I actually prefer to have my hair cut here vs Hamilton and will often hold out for a London visit to cut my hair. I have had my hair cut and styled (coloured back in the day) by many different stylists and they are all professional, well skilled and friendly. I always leave my hair appointment with a smile on my face. I have also started booking my daughter's hair appointments here too. She is 8 years old and they are well suited to helping anyone at any age. Sometimes I book in advance and sometimes it is a last minute request they can accommodate. I highly recommend this hair salon for you and your family.

!! I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Cut Above and working with stylist Shadi, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and at ease. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and the environment is warm, inviting, and healthy. Shadi was an absolute dream to work with. He listened carefully to my desires and concerns, and worked closely with me to achieve the perfect look I had been dreaming of for ages. He was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, and I felt completely safe and confident in his hands. He also took great care to ensure that the integrity of my hair was protected throughout the process, and even made a plan for moving forward that would keep my hair healthy and looking great. But what really set The Cut Above apart for me was the people. Not only was Shadi an amazing stylist, but all of the clients I encountered were warm and friendly, and the entire environment was uplifting and positive. I left feeling not only beautiful, but also surrounded by a community of wonderful people. Overall, my experience at The Cut Above with Shadi was nothing short of amazing. I would give them ten stars if I could, and I can't wait to go back!
