Whew. Never going again. The moment I walked in and said my appointment time with, and my hairdresser was about to take me, another hairdresser cut in front of her with her back to me and started whispering to my hairdresser. With a couple nods they kept it moving and I didn't think anything of it. Later I'd realize they were taking advantage of me, discussing what price to charge me. Concerning the haircut, I've cut my hair better and with more care by myself. No wash was included (not just no shampooing, but literally no water to my head), she just spritzed my hair with minimal water and would scrunch my hair (..painful and also no type of haircutting technique I've ever seen) and cut my hair dry and then didn't style it at all (no product, no heat, nothinnnn)-- asked if I wanted some gel? I was like ok, I mean you literally have put nothing and done nothing to my hair so I guess gel is good-- she puts this sticky edge-laying-like gel that she abrasively 'rubs' on my hair (sticky gel with dry, long hair is a hot mess combination- it quite literally all seemed like a joke and she was seeing how much she could get away with). And then she's basically like 'ta da, done'. So I ask her if she takes card, she says no- and I had the price of $25 in my mind because that's what reviews said and given she didn't wash, properly cut, or style my hair at all I thought fine, $25 is good... This lady has the audacity to say $35 so being the pushover, kind, and non-conniving person I am I went to the ATM took out $40-- handed her $40 to give this poor woman who had to take advantage of me the satisfaction of a tip on top of her scam just so that I'd never have to step into this salon ever again.
