A Family Affair

In the two years I have gotten to know the folks at Tappa the one thing that has struck me beyond the talent for hair that they have, is the camaraderie and family type commitment they have for each other. There's a palpable joy, support,and caring that is wonderful to experience.

I discovered the amazing Jennifer by accident and am amazed by her talent and skill with hair. She is friendly and a great listener and is always open to suggestions. The time in the chair flies by. She is a welcome addition to the team.

Love my colour

We've just moved back into the area. I walked into Tappa to make an appointment to get my colour refreshed, ended up walking out with great new colour and a beautiful blow-out. Thanks Naza, I love it!

Highlight

Randa is absolutely the best in whole Ottawa when it comes to highlights. Even though my hair is very long, with many different shades, Randa always makes my highlights very beautiful.

Amazing service, amazing hair!

The Hair Boutique team got me into the salon within a week of contacting them for keratin treatment and a cut. Belal was my stylist, who was very friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. He explained the treatment process and had me out the door in the exact amount of time he told me my appointment would take. My hair has never felt better! 100% recommend Belal and the Hair Boutique.

Called about 2 hours ahead today and they said they were able to take me at 5:15 which was great since most salons were closed at 5. I got layers and a blowout done by Jennifer, love it!! She made sure throughout the whole process that I was okay with everything she was doing and my hair feels super smooth and my layers are no longer choppy! Shes very nice to have a conversation with even after a long day of work and gave me a lot of tips on keeping my hair healthy. Thanks Jennifer!! The receptionist was also very nice. Definitely will be coming back!

Thank you Jen for taking me as a walk in a few weeks ago. You cut my hair for my hair type (I’ve never in my life had a hair cut specifically for curly hair!) and you truly made me feel so good. I loved your energy and spending my time there. Wonderful atmosphere.

Tappa is such a welcoming salon, you can tell they care about their guest’s experiences. Mariam always goes above and beyond! Today Yana did my hair for the first time and she was amazing as well, I always leave so happy! Thanks for being so great.

We brought my elderly mother in a wheelchair. to Tappa today for a cut and blow dry. The stylist and receptionist were ultra welcoming and willing to do the best to make my mom comfortable. We will definitely go back. They also have an excellent selection of hair products.
