AVOID Capilia, Regency Hair, any business under that company

Please AVOID Capilia and/or any other business under this name (Caralyn's, Regency Hair, etc.) This type of business is NOT REGULATED. They're more concerned of taking your money and NOT producing the final product/service that you were expecting. The owner (Mr. Jocelyn Brazeau)'s unscrupulous business practices are inexplicably mind-boggling. I've worked, lived and travelled all over the world and across Canada, but I didn't realize some businesses in Ottawa were that shady. This ONE takes top prize! Not all businesses in Ottawa are unethical, but you have to be careful with this one. PLEASE, I beg, do your research and shop around before you pay for anything. Always ASK for proof, samples, etc.; DON'T trust what they're saying is legitimate. I have proof (in black & white) that what they're doing and saying is different than what I expected and paid for.

The wigs are really expensive where we can buy 3 wigs at the same cost and my consultation didn’t went well as caralyn wasn’t having proper knowledge at all on what customer needs. Please don’t visit this place and it’s just scam for looting your money

Went to Jenn for a first time wig consultation. There was a private room. Jenn was wonderful to be with. She made the experience fun but was also very, very knowledgeable about colours and style specific to my age and face shape. I felt very confident afterwards. This will definitely be a long term relationship. Highly recommended!! Salon is in a great location with free parking.

I have always had great experiences at Caralyn’s. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who always greet you with a smile. Also recommended a friend there for a much needed haircut and he walked out happy. Definitely a place to check out for anything hair related.

So happy to finally get a haircut! It’s been about a year and a half thanks for Covid. They did a great job on my hair. We tried something new and Jen did an excellent job. I left feeling like a million bucks for a reasonable rate. Already booked my next appointment. Super clean, friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommend!!!
