Subpar experience

I went to Pure hair design for a root touch up and a haircut. The person who applied the dye put way too much. My scalp was completely soaked in dye, and she also put dye on my forehead, not a bit, but by a lot (half an inch around the hairline). It looked like a wore a helmet or something. She rinsed the dye ONCE, and it was just horrible. I put my hand in there, my hand was black (it was a black dye). When I asked the hairdresser what he thought, he said it looked great, and didn't think of telling me how ridiculous I looked with all the dye on my skin. The cut was meh. This is such an expensive place, I will never go back there, not recommended.

Pure Hair Design is a modern clean hairstyling salon in Barrhaven. I discovered Erica over 10 years ago when I moved back to Ottawa. She is a gem and a fantastic hairstylist who handles my thick coarse hair wonderfully. I can't review pricing as I won't shop around. Worth every cent...wish I had a before shot!

First time visiting Pure 9 Beauty salon and I had an amazing experience. Rasha is so sweet and professional and she really make sure her clients are happy and met their needs. She also gave me a complementary coffee, a treat & hair mask. Definitely Pure 9 Beauty Salon will be my go to salon from now on! Thank you !

I went for the first time about a year and a half/ two years ago and I ever since Joe has been my hairdresser, never messed me up or anything it’s always better then what I expected :) 10/10 definitely recommend

I visited Lisa for Laser hair removal. I have to say it was such an amazing experience. I was very nervous but Lisa was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. She talked me through the whole process and i will definitely be recommending her to family and friends.

The only reason I started going to Pure Hair was because of Brooke, she always open to new ideas and I love her attention to details, I have very thick hair and I really can't do much with it but Brooke will always comes up with different ideas to out a new twist to my hairstyle. The staff at Pure Hair are very friendly and they follow COVID guidelines really well, everyone in the building is wearing a mask and they wipe down the chairs, debt machines before and after they have been used. I have been going there for few years now and don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I drive all the way from Kanata everytime I need a hair cut.
