Not a happy tanner

I've been tanning with sunsera for years as well other salons in saskatoon. I usually never have to bring my child with me and the couple times I have I was able to bring them into my room while I was tanning. Today I was greeted with a not so friendly face as I wanted to tan and have my child come into the room with me while doing so. The girl states because of the uv rays he is not allowed, so I said can he wear goggles and she says no sorry. I have seen other moms bring their child into the salon with them while tanning. I would like to know where this policy of not being able to bring your child in comes from? Not a happy client at this time.

Service and products

I have been going to Sunsera Clarence almost since it opened for business and have been very pleased with their services and their products. The staff there are so very friendly and happy to attend to anything you would prefer like a nice hot tea, coffees and herbals to suit yourself. I do buy almost all products I use at Sunsera Clarence as they have proved to be successful pertaining to my hair. The hair stylist that attends to me is Sandra K. She is the most professional, kind and gracious lady that tends to put up with any request that I need to have fulfilled. And she does this so smoothly that I am wishing I could stay in the atmosphere for a bit longer. I am always happy to go there when the appointment comes up. It’s always a good thing!

I am a Person who most definitely likes to read reviews before i go somewhere, wether that be to a restaraunt, hotel, salon etc., Sunsera salon is a GREAT salon. Excellent service. Very sweet women with a passion for what they do there. The one or two reviews that i read that were poor for the exact same services that i had went in to experience were the very opposite for me. I would strongly recommend a facial and or pedicure here. relaxing and clean, i very much enjoyed my services at this salon.

Me and a few friends decided to get pedicures done this past Saturday, and the experience was awesome! Very professional and clean, all of the staff was friendly. Definitely will be coming back!

Horribly ran. I booked online (through Facebook and still have the messages) for a facial and pedicure as per their prices online. When I got there the lady doing my facial told me I pretty much am not allowed to get the facial I chose and that I had to go with something else. It was the most uncomfortable facial ever. I also had booked the cheapest pedicure with no shellac and ended up paying for the most expensive with shellac added. I walked away with a bill over $200 and that was with their â€œ30% off all servicesâ€ event. I called the next day (Sunday) and the girl I spoke with on the phone reassured me that a manager would call the next day (Monday). No call. I called Tuesday afternoon and spoke with someone who rudely told me â€œthe manager is busy and will get back to you whenever she has timeâ€. I missed a call on Wednesday, assuming from the manager, and called back 3 minutes later. However, I spoke with the front desk person who â€œhad a sheet of paper from the managerâ€ and couldnâ€™t provide me with any answers, other than the facial I paid for is actually $150 not $135 as their website falsely advertises. I have tanned here for years, will never go back.

Horrible customer service! Phoned to see why my location in stonebridge was closed half hour early (4:30pm), and the 8th st location receptionist was so rude and dismissive to me! Iâ€™ve been a patron there for a long time, having spend a great deal of money over the years and today you just lost a customer. Shame on you.

I was in this salon yesterday with my friends for a full day of relaxation and beauty and got exactly the opppsite! The facial was terrible. I told her my skin type and asked if it was oil free and she couldnâ€™t answer me or understand what I was asking. And now today my skin is breaking out and itchy. The massage was the most tensed up Iâ€™ve ever been. It was not relaxing at all. The pedicures and manicures were not done well either. The hair and make up we got at the end of the day was the worst! My girls hair dryer was broken? Or she couldnâ€™t work it? My hair was still damp and she was gonna try straightening it! I ended up drying my hair myself and styling it and I did my makeup in the bathroom ( I brought some from home). I highly dont recommend this place. They were not knowledgeable about the services they were giving us.
