Not terrible, really, I hate to give any negative reviews at all, but this place used to be a lot better before Covid. I came in on a weekday morning, it was slow, and there was nobody in the shop, until I called the number, then the owner walked in from the outside. I didn't mind, and asked him for a simple mid fade on the sides, leaving the middle part and the short mullet in the back. The barber just replied "Okay okay okay" and proceeded with the haircut, he was in a hurry, maybe to get back to what he was doing? But what he did was shorten the sides, gave me no fade at all, trimmed the back, making the hair looked awkwardly short. I still managed to style it in a different way to make it look somewhat presentable, but for sure I did not get what I came for. If you're looking for a simple, buzz cut with the clipper, I think this place would be fine. But for me, coming back here would simply be a no go.

I'm come to this hair salon with my son and my wife every other month for hair cut , hair stylist services for years. Jim is friendly, detailed and neatly man with a great haircut skills. It wasn't fare if I didn't give him any kudos for his great work when my family members were his regular customers. Thank you Jim Jeon for your great service 👍

For the first time, my hair comes out looking amazing. I have been having trouble finding a place to provide a decent haircut for a decent price. Jim Akron Hair Studio is a place to go. Jim starts out washing my hair, then he performs his magic with ease. I can’t tell you how happy I am when I came out without hair sticking up in the back. I would recommend this place to a friend

Not recommended at all! I told him that i just wanted a trim for my split ends and to maintain the same hairstyle. But he made my hair thinner , i came back to help him get it fixed and said i dont want it to be thin, and he made it even more thinner!!!! And so i had to cut it short and it is a disaster now! Ughhhh!!!!

I’ve been going here for a haircut for several years. In addition to Jim’s super friendly personality, he’s skilled in his craft. He gives great haircuts no matter your hair style as I’ve witnessed many satisfied customers while awaiting my turn. Highly recommend Jim Jeon!
