Unprofessional salon

I came to this salon for a haircut by Morgan and I talked about how I wanted to get hi lites. I told her I had been dying my hair at home and the last time was 8 months ago. She said she could give me blonde hi lites, no problem. I came back a month later and after 5 hours in the chair my hair felt fried and I barely had brown streaks in my hair BARELY noticeable. The manager comes over and says she can correct it before my maternity pictures. I come back a couple of weeks later and after another 5 hours my hair comes out orange and brassy not blonde hilites at all. As she was drying my hair I could see tons of broken pieces of my hair flying all around me. My hair was now seriously damaged. Then I was told I need to find another salon. I came back March 31 for styling with Clara without issues but my blowout appointment I had today was cancelled less than a 24 hours notice by manager Helena. I asked why since I was there a few weeks ago for a blowout without issues...

Went to 20 Volume for the first time last Friday, it's been 5 years since I'd been to a salon. I've been using Aveda for the last 15 years when I did go. The salon it's self was very nice, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was caring and professional. My appointment was with Katie and she was amazing. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my hair but needed to do something with it, a big change to for the big life changes I've recently gone through. She was thoughtful and caring and choose just the right style to give me the boost I needed. During the whole appointment she took great care of not just my hair, but me too. She is a talented and skilled stylist and I will continue to be her client.

Great place for a men's haircut. McKenzie always does a fantastic job and is great to chat with along the way. Highly recommend for guys that are spending a little less elsewhere but are not getting a great haircut. You get what you pay for- and you get a great men's haircut here!

I love this salon. It's small and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and my stylist really listens to what I want.

Jeneane did a great job today. My hair has been thinning and receding in front due to a medical issue and I resigned myself to getting a shorter cut. She listened well and was able to give me the cut I wanted, by combining 2 styles in the photos I showed her and seamlessly blending the thinning front in the thicker sides and back. She spent over an hour with me cutting and walking me through different strategies for styling it to maximize the effect. I really do appreciate her time and reassuring demeanor. I thought I was going to have to live with limitations, but she gave me a stylish haircut I feel genuinely happy about.

Awesome service! Beautiful atmosphere. Personable staff, the owner even came over to greet me herself. I came to fix a color from somewhere else and they accomplished exactly the color I wanted ❤️Definitely coming back!
