My attempt to maintain my natural mane was time consuming, frustrating and often tearful. Although I had been natural for several years; still, I thought long and hard before I sat in the Locdoc chair. Once it was complete, I ran my fingers through my grid and a sense of glee welled up inside. However it wasn't until the next morning, I felt the full impact of my decision. On that morning, for the first time in my life I fully embraced my hair in all it's glory. Within 3 days, my hair began to make the natural transformation to loc. Why did it take me 49 years to get here-(Freedom)? In this day and age, there will be girls and women whom will never know the plight of chemically processed hair- only all natural. My goal is to be delivered mind, body and soul. My hat goes off to the Loc Doc. She's professional, committed, invested in her clients wellbeing, talented , cost effective and has the ability to offer you a life changing experience. I was so glad to finally get my Sisterlocks installed after waiting over 15 years to make this decision. When I tell you Elisa is dedicated to her profession...I mean it! She is thorough and absolutely nothing, besides her family and God, makes her happier than having her hands in peoples hair. She enjoys educating people and ensuring that they are comfortable with their journey and enjoy every part of the process as much as she does. Run, donâ€™t walk to your nearest location of The Loc Doc Hair Studio!!! She recently moved to Phoenix as well!!!

I am so thankful for Elisa at the LocDoc Hair Studio! My long blonde hair was damaged a year ago and got worse. It ended up lockin up in one big matte tight on my scalp! I was so frantic. I got a consultation with her right away. She was amazing and so compassionate when I was so upset. She understood saving as much length as possible was important to me and she did and my hair is much healthier and I would definitely go back to her!

I don't know where to start this woman is truly heaven sent... After 3 months of having "sister locks" I decided to switch my loctician and I'm glad I did. I'm so blessed to have run into Elisa. She worked with my schedule and offers payment plans as well. Elisa worked for 2 days early mornings and late nights reconstructing my grid a take down and install of the front of my hair... The finished product is 100 times better than what we started with.. The Loc Doc is AMAZING! Sheâ€™s the real deal!
