I scheduled an appointment for a trim and they were able to see me on the day of which was a good thing. My hair was blown out by request, went I got in the chair my stylist, Chelsia, did not do a general comb through before beginning the trim (Red flag 1), she sectioned my hair and I mentioned that I had layers, and she proceeded to trim my hair, she did not show me how much she was trimming or anything(red flag 2). So I knew she wasn't as experienced as she claimed unfortunately. When she finished the trim which definitely turned out to be a CUT, she did not show me the finished product of the trim (red flag 3) she just proceeded to style my hair.
When I got out of the chair I looked to see the amount of hair on the ground and I was upset because I get my hair trimmed routinely, and I know for sure that I did not have 1 1/2 inches of damage (I know because I actually measure my hair. I keep a journal). It's one thing to "talk a good natural hair game" but If you cannot "walk the walk" by executing efficient and neat tasks such as a trim then that damages the experience of your customers. I won't be returning or referring anyone.
