In short do not go to Anis Hair Studio. I had a wedding to attend and the Anis personnel did not perform.
I came to Anis Hair Studio, via a recommendation by one of my client. I was told the gentleman who worked/owned at Anis is skilled and knows his craft well. I booked an appointment for my sister in-laws wedding, a few weeks in advance and made a deposit. Friday morning, a day before the wedding, I contacted the salon to confirm my appointment. In the afternoon I received a call from the gentleman and he began asking me what type of hairdo I wanted, I explained the style I wanted he said fine and I thought nothing of it.
The morning of around 8:00 AM, I received a text from the gentleman stating that he would arrive at the salon at 11:00 AM and that he would see me then. I immediately responded, that he knew my appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM and that I did not understand why he felt the need to move my appointment “I HAD A WEDDING TO DRIVE TO, AND HE DID NOT KNOW MY SCHEDULEâ€. He responded by saying it was due to health reasons and that a lady at the salon will be happy to see me. I felt uneasy about the situation, and considered demanding my deposit and trying to find a new beauty shop in the next 40 min, I decided to give the lady a chance as I am considerate to people’s health troubles.
I arrived at the salon and the stylist was occupied with one of her own appointments, she said she would help me as soon as she could. (SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO END UP HELPME A DAY BEFORE, THIS WAS VERY UPSETING) I waited 30 min to finally get helped. She was nice, and I was grateful that she attempted to step up, but she did not have the skills to give me the hairdo that I wanted. After seeing her struggle for the next 30 min, I decided to have her stop. I paid her the amount she requested minus the deposit. She asked for more, and had to explain that I had paid the a deposit, and of course I did not
I ended up styling my own hair on the car drive to the wedding.
I will never return to Anis Hair Studio, Please do NOT go to Anis Hair Studio.
