I recently relocated to the Inland Empire and was stressed out because I didn't know what I was going to do about a hair stylist. I even thought that my only solution would be to fly back to San Francisco and get my Deva cuts there. HOWEVER, after a lot of researching and consultations with various Deva stylist throughout Southern California, I found THE DEVA stylist that I will NEVER leave. I could probably write a dissertation on Janine but I won't because I know how important it is for you curly girls out there to get the scoop about a stylist asap. SO I've decided to share three things that I learned make Janine Lauder a SAFE and TRUE Deva stylist. Number 1, she is more than a Deva stylist but an artist at heart. Living in San Francisco and New York I have found that the best hair stylist are artist and as luck has, Ms. Janine has a sculpting background! Why is this a big deal?! Because she isn't afraid to give you a hair cut that you desire. IF your vision doesn't suit your curly hair type, then she'll let you know and offer you an an alternate option. At the end of the day, its your decision and she works so hard to achieve the style you desire. But just know her alternative options are equally amazing. She won't disappoint! The second thing that makes Janine so great to work with is her "bedside manner". She is genuine and sincere about her passion for cutting curly hair. She is spunky, fun, respectful, patient and supportive. As soon as you walk through her salon doors, she'll embrace you with a hug and say you must be my curly hair girl. LOVE that about her. Who does that?! Someone who loves there job, loves people, and is a beautiful person inside and out! Last but not least, Janine isn't cutting our hair because "it's business" as one Deva stylist told me. She is in it because she really wants to help us embrace our curly hair. She also understands that it is difficult to find a curly hair specialist with that said she is BEYOND AFFORDABLE. Her prices are incredible. In fact, her prices are so reasonable I seriously can get my hair cut up to three times a year and not break the bank. Currently she charges $100.00 for her curly girls...isn't that an amazing price?! I almost cried! Thank you, thank you, thank you Janine for such a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to my next cut with you soon.

Janine does such an amazing job making my dry frizzy hair look fantastic. She knows how to do color on difficult hair that improves the condition of your hair and looks natural. She is the most talented stylist I've ever known.

Did an AMAZING job on my daughter who has Cerebral Palsy. She was so happy and excited with her new haircut :) Thanks for making her feel so welcomed :)
