The Good: Katie... she's THE BEST colorist I've found since being in LA. She's professional, personable and just really pays attention to what her clients are looking for in color. Prices for highlights are reasonable... but a simple trim (cutting 1/2 inch off is $55+... not cool!). The BAD: Josie. Whoever this girl is at the salon... sweet jesus someone needs to give her a lesson in customer service. She's rude everytime I call to make an appointment. I have mixed feeling about going back.... I love Katie, but dealing with this other woman is painful.

Lina at Kriza Aveda Salon in Topanga is terrific. I've had my hair cut at expensive salons in Beverly Hills and Lina beats them all. She takes her time to make sure the hair cut is perfect and has a delightful personality to boot. At Kriza, you also get a head and hand massage, and a make-up dusting. I highly recommend Lina at Kriza in Topanga. Eve

Their service sucks! I didn't even get any! I was so excited to get my hair colored with their natural color, however when I got there the hairdresser refused to work with my hair since it was black and I wanted to get it colored to light brown. She tried to convince me that my hair will turn Orange, and that my roots color will be different than the rest of my hair, and she wanted me to sign some agreement so that she wouldn't take the responsibility if my hair turned out orange! When I told her that I've been coloring my hair for almost 15 yrs now, and that when I use ash tones it doesn't turn orange, she gave me an attitude and told me that she has a 10 yr experience in coloring hair, and that she's sure that it will be orange...If she had the experiencce she would have known how to make the roots the same color as the rest of my hair!!! Anyways, I refused to get my hair colored there, and she didn't seem to bother giving me any solution for coloring my hair, she didn't even care when I told her that I wouldn't want to color it if there's a chance that it will turn orange...I'm never going there EVER AGAIN...I wanted to have a good hair coloring experience after not coloring my hair for 9 months (since I was pregnant), and they made it really miserable...I went back home and colored my hair on my own and it turned out the same exact color that I wanted, just to proove to myself that my hair doesn't turn out ORANGE! I wouldn't even give them one star for their rating!
