I've been going to 17 Jewels for years to get my hair cut by Jamie. As a guy with long hair it's not easy to find a good hair cut, but she delivers every time. The salon has a great atmosphere, too. I totally recommend it.

Because I have short hair I think I can safely say I have had PLENTY of hair cuts in my lifetime. I love going here. The place is awesome, people are very friendly and fun and I get a TON of compliments about my hair even when it's growing out!

Decided to check out the place after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Great vibes and friendly staff in a nice area. My stylist, Kieu, walked me through her plan, always asking for my opinion, and gave me tips for maintaing it afterward. I have a LOT of thick, heavy hair that tends to puff out so I was very pleased with how light and amazingly soft she left it. Will definetly return and recommend to others.

Sylvia is amazing! I've never felt so pampered. During the shampoo, she massaged my neck and top of my shoulders. It was so great. The tension from the week was released, finally. She took the time to look at photos I brought of cuts I liked and she made sure the styles I showed her were styles that would work with my hair and face shape. I'm super happy with how the cut and style turned out. Not only is she talented with scissors, she is sweet and friendly and warm. It took me two years of living in the bay to finally find a stylist I can trust to do a great cut. I'll definitely go back. Thanks Sylvia!
