I see Krystal Usher here every couple months to get my hair cut and she does a phenomenal job. She is always super pleasant to work with and easy to talk to. I have Asian hair and she does a great job styling it and helping me keep it healthy. She never pushes any products on you but will tell you about her recommendations if you ask. The salon itself is super cute, filled with little local goodies and is decorated in a beautiful bohemian way!

This was my first time using this salon, and I called and asked for a same day appointment on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised to be accommodated. I arrived for my appointment with Kristina who was not only an amazing stylist, but was really kind and attentive too. For example, I'm paranoid about my hair getting too damaged and after I told her that, she kept checking on the progress of my balayage regularly, really paying attention to detail and making me much more relaxed. My review of her actual work on my hair is equally positive. I have very dark hair and was ready for a change, and the result is a very natural coppery balayage. Going in to the appointment, I wanted ashy grey-blond ends, but Kristina was great at managing my expectations and letting me know that it may take a few rounds for hair as dark/warm as mine to get that light. I'm extremely satisfied with how it looks now though, and am excited to have this style for at least a couple months before making another appointment. All in all, my experience was so positive and satisfying that I decided to write a review when I normally don't. The only note I would make is to allow 5-10 extra minutes to find parking--it's in a busy area of Northpark and is to be expected, but it's just something to keep in mind.

Jessica was fabulous. A true artist and someone that takes great pride in her work. She made special arrangements to accomodate my needs when I had a client travel out of town for some "makeover" time. The results were wonderful.
